Monsoon Palace (Sajjangarh)
A hilltop 19th-century palace perched above Udaipur with sweeping panoramic views over the city, Lake Pichola and the Aravalli hills. Built by Maharana Sajjan Singh in 1884, it was originally designed as an astronomical centre. You can also visit Sajjangarh Biological Park which is 15 minutes away from the Monsoon Palace.
Famous for its diverse flora, rich wildlife, and breathtaking views of Lake Pichola and Fateh Sagar Lake, it is a must-visit spot for nature lovers, wildlife photographers, and adventure enthusiasts. Originally used as a royal hunting ground by the Mewar rulers, the area was declared a wildlife sanctuary in 1987. Today, it stands as a vital green zone of Udaipur, balancing history, culture, and conservation.

Kumbhalgarh Fort
Kumbhalgarh Fort is a UNESCO World Heritage Site nestled in the Aravalli Range. Located approximately 85 kilometres from Udaipur, it is renowned for its massive walls, the second longest in the world. Built during the reign of Maharana Kumbha, the fort is perched at 3,600 ft above sea level and features seven fortified gateways along with several Hindu and Jain temples within its complex.
