Party hard and feel comfortable to let loose at each event - Indian weddings are a celebration of love. Think of this as a week-long party.
Root for the boys' side at the baraat and dance your heart out. If you're on the girls' side, help steal Raghav's shoes. If you're a friend to both, volunteer yourself as a double agent.
Binge on the vast array of delicious Indian food and sweets that will greet you at every corner - You have not attended an Indian wedding if you’re not a few pounds heavier by the time you bid us goodbye.
Stay hydrated. Indian weddings are a 2-3 day affair with non-stop energy and entertainment, so brace yourself and pace yourself.

Don’t need to hide your shoes when you see people stealing shoes. As a part of an old custom, at some point in the wedding, the groom’s shoes are stolen by the bride’s side on the wedding day. If you’re a friend of Raghav’s, he will need your help on the wedding day.
You don’t have to completely stay away from delicious street food, but check basic hygiene before you indulge. Watch what you eat and drink outside the wedding.
Don’t dress light. If people can’t spot you a mile away, you’re not dressed right. Get your brightest and most colourful outfit on. But always stay comfortable.
Don't worry about your sleep schedule - it is going to be a mess and that is okay.
The following arrangements in Udaipur will be available to make your stay more comfortable
Please refer to the Outfits Locator section within the Wardrobe tab. Alternatively, if you have Indian friends, you can also borrow outfits from them! If none of these options work for you, we have made arrangements to take your shopping on one of your rest days in Mumbai to purchase clothes at economical prices. Our planners will be in touch closer to the event to check if this is something you will need help.
Mumbai: We have kept it flexible for you to plan your travel as per your leisure. While we request you to book your own transfers from the airport to the hotel - we have made provisions for your shuttle/pool cars to the function venues from the two recommended hotels mentioned.
Additionally, if you are a group of 3 or 4 - we would be happy to allocate a dedicated car for your group to explore the city when in Mumbai. Please let us know!
Udaipur: Transfer from the airport-hotel as well as to venues have been arranged for!
Please wear comfortable flats, wedges, and/or platform heels as we have outdoor lawn venues and lots of dancing.
Mumbai: Warm days and cool nights with average highs of 85°F (29°C) to a low of 65°F (18°C).
Udaipur: Pleasant days and cold nights, with average highs of 80°F (27°C) and lows of 55°F (13°C). All our events are outdoors. While we shall have necessary measures to maintain a comfortable temperature during the events, a light shawl or jacket is recommended for the evening events.
Please feel free to wear whatever you feel beautiful in! There are no strict requirements or restrictions regarding the attire. However, we kindly request that you avoid wearing red for the Celebratory Reception!
Your presence is the most cherished gift we seek, and your blessings are all we humbly request when it comes to any potential gift registry.
While India does not require vaccinations for entry, it's recommended to be up-to-date on routine vaccinations and consider additional ones based on your health and travel plans.
Do carry a copy of your vaccination records (digitally is okay), including COVID-19 vaccination certificates, in case they are needed.
Besides vaccinations, practise good hygiene, drink bottled or purified water, and avoid street food to reduce the risk of gastrointestinal issues.
